That's what you get for not posting my Bartman comment!
Interesting page 1 story in the New York Times today about state lotteries and school funding. It said our lottery pays 3.1% of the school budget. For the lottery program itself 59% in prizes, 33% in profit, 7% in administration. This was relatively the same ratios as most of the other states I looked at. I've always thought lottery income should stay in the neighborhoods/school districts where the tickets are bought, else it's the rich robbing the poor.
But I digress -- I'd wish you better luck next year, but, yeah - GO WHITE SOX!
