All Systems Are Go

He told the group that he and his family are eager for what the future may hold. He spoke of making an announcement February 10 in Springfield, and of the desire to focus on a grassroots campaign fueled by 'excitement' and the 'sense of possibility'. This is the same fundamental theme that was the backbone of his Senate campaign and that lit up the country at the national convention.
I don't know what the campaign may bring, but I feel very confident that Barack's presence will elicit a debate and optimism that has been lacking for far too long.

I am so excited that he is doing this and he gives our state a figure that we can really be proud of for the first time since Paul Simon.

I think this will be exciting. One of my problems with supporting is his lack of "executive" experience, but the grassroots experience he has as a community organizer is getting my attention. This will be interesting and in order for him to still be influential I hope he goes for this and who knows what will happen in a few years after 08.
When is Obama going to start reaching out to Greens? Does he realize that there are a pool of more than 300,000 Green Party activists, just waiting for someone to agressively support a reform like Instant Runoff Voting?
